The Department of Telecommunications under the Ministry of Information
and Communications will do research and publish figures on Internet
users in Viet Nam in 2015.
The department of telecommunications is collecting opinions on its new
draft circular on the management, provision and use of Internet-based
calls and texting services.
Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Bac Son has requested
the Department of Telecommunications to develop policies for
over-the-top (OTT) service, which offers users free phone calls and text
messages.
